The daily routine for normal to combination skin

The daily routine for normal to combination skin

Do you have skin that can't choose between oily and dry? No worries! We have the ultimate routine for you. A good skincare routine is essential to keep your skin healthy, glowing, and balanced. If you have normal or combination skin, it's important to choose products and a method that balance both dry and oily areas of your face. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you apply an effective routine for your normal to combo skin.

First things first, when do you speak of combination skin?

Combination skin means that the skin consists of two skin types: oily and dry skin. The T-zone (forehead, chin, and nose) are oilier than other areas of the face. The cheeks feel alternately between normal to dry. You may also suffer from enlarged pores and blackheads or even be prone to acne. Combination skin is the most common skin type. It affects some more than others but with the right routine you can achieve a regular skin condition.

Not sure which routine to apply due to these two different skin types? We have put together a morning and evening routine for you so you can target both skin types.

Morning routine

Step 1: Cleanse

Begin your morning routine with the AHA gel cleanser. This cleanser removes dirt and excess oil without drying out the skin. It unclogs pores, preventing the accumulation of impurities.

Step 2: Toner

After cleansing, use the hyaluronic acid toner. This toner intensely hydrates the skin and reduces fine lines.

Step 3: Serum

Apply the 10% niacinamide serum. This serum reduces and prevents hyperpigmentation, regulates sebum production and soothes irritated skin. It also contains hyaluronic acid for extra hydration.

Step 4: Hydration

Use the hydrating moisturizer to keep your skin well hydrated throughout the day. This moisturizer is lightweight and perfect for daily use.

Step 5: Eye cream

After this, use 3 to 4 drops of the peptide eye cream. Massage this gently under the eyes. This eye cream helps reduce dark circles and fine lines.

Step 6: Protection

Finish with the day cream SPF30. Use two fingers of SPF and don't forget to include your neck. This day cream protects your skin from UV rays, blue light, and prevents premature skin aging.

Evening routine

Step 1: Cleanse

Start off with the AHA gel cleanser to properly remove all the dirt accumulated during the day.

Step 2: Toner

After cleansing, use the hyaluronic acid toner. The toner not only provides additional cleansing, but also allows the skin to absorb other products better.

Step 3: Serum

Next, apply a few drops of the retinol night serum*. This serum reduces fine lines, fades dark spots, and hydrates the skin.

*Note: Use the retinol night serum only at night and never in combination with the vitamin C serum. Start with once or twice a week and gradually build up the use.

Step 4: Hydration

Again, use the hydrating moisturizer to hydrate your skin. This moisturizer is lightweight and perfect for daily use.

Step 5: Eye cream

Finish your evening routine with the peptide eye cream so you wake up with a radiant look.

Extra Care

Do you want to give your skin some extra love? Then use the face scrub once or twice a week. This gently removes dead skin cells, preventing clogged pores that cause pimples, and blackheads. In addition, you can also use the multi-mask method. Apply the moisturizing mask to the dry parts of the skin and the pink clay mask to the oilier parts of the skin. Do this up to twice a week. You can also use the pink clay mask as a spot treatment.

In short, taking care of normal or combination skin requires a carefully constructed routine with products that balance both dry and oily areas. By consistently following a good morning and evening routine, combined with extra care such as masks and scrubs, you can keep your skin healthy, radiant, and balanced.
